Google Review Request

A gentle second-nudge for recent graduates in Bob's voice: a text version, an email version, and how to grab the one-tap review link. For review before anything is sent.

Google Review Request: Gentle Follow-Up (Second Nudge)

Context: Bob already asked last week's just-graduated cohort for Google reviews. Only 2 people have done so. This is a gentle SECOND nudge: gratitude-first, frictionless (one tap), framed around helping the next hurting person find the group, NOT about Bob. Both versions make clear it takes about 60 seconds.

Voice: Bob's warm, low-pressure, pastoral tone. No pressure, no guilt, no scarcity.

Before sending: replace [Google review link] with Bob's direct "write a review" short link (see the note at the bottom for how to get it).

(1) Text-message version

Hi [First name], it's Bob. Still smiling about how this cohort showed up for each other. One small ask when you have a minute: would you leave a short Google review? It is the first thing a hurting person finds when they go looking for help, and your words could be the reason they walk through the door. Takes about 60 seconds: [Google review link]. Thank you, truly.

(If you prefer an even shorter version: "Hi [First name], it's Bob. No pressure at all, but if you have 60 seconds, a quick Google review helps the next person who is hurting find us: [Google review link]. Grateful for you.")

(2) Email version

Subject: One small favor (about 60 seconds)

Body:

Hi [First name],

I am still thinking about this last cohort and how openly you all showed up for each other. It was a gift to walk those ten weeks with you.

I have one small favor, and please know there is zero pressure attached to it.

When someone is in the worst stretch of a divorce, the first thing they usually do is search Google, late at night, wondering if anything can actually help. What they find there, the real words of real people who have been where they are, is often what gives them the courage to reach out.

That is where you come in. If you have about 60 seconds, would you leave a short Google review of your experience? You do not need to write anything polished. A sentence or two about what the group meant to you is plenty, and it could be the exact thing that helps the next hurting person find their way to a room full of support.

So the link above is truly one tap (it opens the review box directly, with the stars ready), use Bob's direct review link rather than a link to the general listing:

  1. Open your Google Business Profile (sign in at google.com/business, or search your business name while signed in to the Google account that manages it).
  2. Find "Ask for reviews" (sometimes shown as "Get more reviews").
  3. Google gives you a short review link in the form g.page/r/.... Copy that link.
  4. Paste it in place of [Google review link] in both messages above.

That short g.page/r/... link opens the "write a review" box directly, which is what makes it a genuine one-tap, roughly-60-second ask.
