Do I have to talk about my divorce in front of the group?

No. You share only what you're ready to share. Most people are surprised how quickly the room starts to feel safe, but there's never pressure.

Is this group therapy?

No, it's a structured 10-week educational program built on Dr. Bruce Fisher's 19 Rebuilding Blocks, facilitated by me (I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor) and trained volunteer graduates. About half of every cohort is in individual therapy at the same time, and the two work beautifully together. One graduate put it well: this goes way beyond therapy, because everyone in the room gets it.

What happens the first night?

We meet Sunday evening for about three hours. I walk the whole cohort through how the 10 weeks work, then we break into small groups of five to ten people with two volunteer co-leaders each. Nobody's put on the spot; you'll leave having discovered that everyone else in the room is carrying something too, and that alone changes things.

How much does the 10-week seminar cost?

Tuition is $1,099 early-bird through Friday, July 24, 2026, then $1,200. You can split it into three equal interest-free payments, and if even that's a stretch, email me and we'll work something out; nobody's ever been turned away over money alone. We also run $30 intro workshops if you want to see what it's like before committing.

Is the program religious?

No. Rebuilding is non-religious and open to people of every faith and none. It's built on a developmental framework, not a doctrinal one, so you'll sit next to people from all kinds of backgrounds working through the same climb.

My divorce was years ago. Is it too late for this to help?

Not at all. Some of our strongest graduates came in five, six, even seven years after their divorce, still feeling stuck, and finally moved forward. If the ending still has a grip on you, the class works whether it happened last month or last decade.

Is it all women? Will I be the only man there?

Every cohort is a real mix of men and women, ages roughly 30 to 70. There are usually more women than men in the room, but you won't be the only man, and the men who come tell me the class was the first place they could be honest about what they were carrying.

When does the next seminar start?

Our fall 10-week cohort starts Sunday, September 20, 2026, meeting Sunday evenings in Niwot, with a Denver cohort in the Cherry Creek area. Early-bird tuition is $1,099 through Friday, July 24, then $1,200.

What happens after the 10 weeks end?

You graduate into a community of more than 3,000 alumni. Graduates stay connected through our private group and ongoing get-togethers, and the friendships formed in class tend to last. "Lifelong friends" is one of the most repeated phrases in our reviews, and it's not an exaggeration.

Do I need to be divorced, or is separated okay?

Separated is absolutely okay; you don't need a finalized divorce to join. The class is for anyone rebuilding after divorce, separation, the end of a long relationship, or even the death of a partner. The rebuilding process is the same climb.
