What changed vs the May 28 report

The old version was built from model memory and was wrong
  • "Menopause Taylor owns lab-testing literacy" is REFUTED. That query surfaces Heather Hirsch (30K views) and Natalie Crawford, not Taylor. Lab literacy is contested, not owned.
  • "Muscle as metabolic medicine" is correctly saturated (Gabrielle Lyon, TEDx 1.9M). Stay out unless the angle is sharply different.
  • "Estrogen and Alzheimer's" is saturated (Lisa Mosconi), but note: she has no dominant channel of her own. The topic rides on host channels (TED 2.2M, Diary of a CEO 2.8M).
  • "Second peak" stays retired. Not scientifically defensible; not re-tested.
  • Two topics that would have looked open from memory are now saturated: creatine for women 50+ (Stacy Sims 385K, plus a 2M-view ER doc) and GLP-1 plus muscle loss (Haver owns it). Do not enter these as "gaps."

The one true gap to enter this week
Highest priority gap
Testosterone, dopamine, and anhedonia, for women
On-target search returned essentially nothing (one video at 1,803 views; the rest were generic Huberman dopamine content). Nobody connects testosterone to dopamine to lost-ambition for women. The angle: "you didn't become less ambitious, your dopamine system changed when your testosterone fell, and your SSRI never touched that pathway." Emotional hook: relief and identity ("I'm not broken, and I'm not lazy"). Annette owns this because she has personal experience with injectable testosterone, a 30-year founder backstory, and the anhedonia-vs-depression distinction already drafted.
"You didn't lose your drive. Your dopamine changed, and nobody checked the hormone that runs it."
Why this week: it is the only angle that is simultaneously a true gap (near-zero on-target coverage), already drafted in SmartStrongAlive's voice (the testosterone series), and uniquely ownable by Annette (personal protocol plus founder backstory).

4 genuine gaps verified against live data
  • 1. Testosterone, dopamine, and anhedonia, for women
What the data showsOn-target search returned essentially nothing (one video at 1,803 views; the rest were generic Huberman dopamine content). Nobody connects testosterone to dopamine to lost-ambition for women.
The angleThe piece argues "you didn't become less ambitious, your dopamine system changed when your testosterone fell, and your SSRI never touched that pathway." Emotional hook: relief and identity ("I'm not broken, and I'm not lazy"). Annette owns this uniquely (personal protocol, founder backstory, anhedonia-vs-depression distinction already drafted).
  • 2. APOE4-specific HRT and Alzheimer's prevention
What the data showsSearching APOE4 returned only general menopause-dementia content; nothing built around the carrier specifically (strong on-target results: ~0).
The angle"If you carry APOE4, the HRT timing conversation is not the same one the general guidelines are having." It teaches the carrier-specific stakes and the critical-window question. Emotional hook: outrage plus hope. Annette owns this uniquely: she is APOE4/4 and her mother has Alzheimer's.
  • 3. US HRT-access navigation (how to actually get treated in America)
What the data showsCoverage is generic "how to talk to your doctor," led by Hirsch; the UK channels dominate the practical how-to. No one owns the US-system navigation (insurance, telehealth like Midi and Alloy, finding a Menopause Society provider).
The angleThe concrete US playbook: where to find a prescriber, what telehealth actually covers, what to say, what it costs. Emotional hook: relief (removing friction). Annette can own this; it is the same terrain as testosterone Part 3 of her series.
  • 4. WHI correction, written for the woman who is STILL SCARED
What the data showsThe WHI topic is covered, but almost always in skeptic or debunk framing (Mark Hyman 196K, Hirsch 6K). The gentle reassurance frame, aimed at the frightened woman rather than the skeptic, is open, and it is timely against the Nov 2025 FDA black-box removal.
The angle"If a 2002 headline scared you off hormones for 20 years, this is the calm, sourced correction, written for you, not at the doubters." Emotional hook: relief. Annette owns the evidence-plus-empathy register.
