How this was built

Every practitioner here came out of the 5,301-person Menopause Society directory scrape. The list was narrowed to US clinicians who offer telehealth and whose listed website is genuinely their own practice site, not a MediFind or Healthgrades listing and not a staff page on a hospital system's site.

Then all 1,195 of those homepages were fetched and read. That part matters. The earlier audit saved page titles and page lengths but not the text, and a title-only screen turns out to be wrong about 80% of the time: practices call themselves "Women's Health" in the title and put menopause in the body. Every result here comes from the words actually on the page, so a clinician appears only if the string "menopause" is genuinely nowhere on her homepage.

27 sites refused the request or timed out and are excluded rather than guessed at. The check reads the homepage only, so a clinician with a menopause page deeper in her site still counts as invisible here, which is close to the point: if it's not on the front page, patients and search engines aren't finding it either.
