61 of the 263 providers on medspasboulder.com currently show a designed initials card rather than a photograph. The card is deliberate. It is better than the alternative, which is a stock model from the business's own marketing presented as if it were their treatment room.

Why these are empty

Two things closed off the easy routes.

Google Business Profile photos cannot be downloaded. The API returns only the cover image, its URLs expire within minutes and then refuse forever, and sustained downloading got our address soft-blocked. Across 26 attempts on August 1 it returned nothing usable at all. The photo galleries these businesses have uploaded are visible in a browser but are not reachable programmatically.

Their own websites are mostly stock imagery. Of 73 candidate images pulled from provider sites, 65 were rejected: stock models mid-injection, manufacturer product shots, before and after collages, QR codes, serum bottles, and in one case four black and white photographs of horses. A separate audit the same day pulled 19 more that had already been published in July under a looser standard.

What would actually fill these

Two routes, in order of effort.

Their Google photo galleries, opened in a browser. The gallery is public, the business uploaded it, and it usually contains the room. This needs a real browser session rather than an API call, which is why it has not happened automatically.

Your camera, on visits. The strongest option, and the one no competitor can copy. A single photo of the lobby taken on a visit outranks anything scraped, and it pairs with the in-person scoring you already do.

Already done

Annette photographed four Arvada businesses herself on August 1: Clearview Dermatology, Silk Esthetics and Day Spa, New Beginnings Tattoo Removal, and Weight Loss NP. All four are live on the site. That is the route that works.

Rows with no Google profile link were never matched to a Google listing, so they link to a Google Maps search instead.

Nothing on this list is a judgment about the business. A missing photograph says only that we have not found an honest one yet.
