Second new pillar in two days: /towns/, seven nearby cities. LIVE and GREEN.

Annette: cover Louisville and other smaller nearby cities across the entire site. This is the FIRST HALF of that: dedicated town pages. Site is now 39 pages. Validator GREEN on all 8 checks across 38 pages, run twice. Production on main, commit 77bd935.

Her two decisions, both recorded

1. Structure: town pages AND woven into existing pages. Town pages shipped. THE WEAVE HAS NOT STARTED and is the top open item.
2. Coverage: Boulder County PLUS BROOMFIELD. Broomfield is its own city and county; including it was deliberate. Do not drop it as out of scope.

Structure follows the data, again

"things to do in boulder county" is 10/mo at competition index 100, so a county hub captures nothing. Seven town pages instead, ~4,300/mo combined, larger than /live-here/. Superior (10/mo) folded into Louisville, Niwot (no data) into Longmont rather than making thin pages.

⚠️ SISTER-SITE COLLISION, caught before shipping

outdoorboulder.com already owns /nederland/, /hall-ranch/, /heil-valley-ranch/, /rabbit-mountain/, /walker-ranch/, /marshall-mesa/ and /skiing-near-boulder/. The original briefs asked for that same content, which would have put two of her sites in one SERP. Trails and ski logistics now HAND OFF, same pattern as /food/ to tasteboulder.com. No overlap anywhere else: outdoorboulder has nothing for the other six towns, tasteboulder is Boulder-only (verified by sitemap). Do not expand the trail sections on /towns/lyons/ or /towns/nederland/ into full guides.

⚠️ The corrections, which are why these pages exist

• LONGMONT: Union Reservoir swim beach CLOSED for all of 2026 (low water), 3ft wading area only, 23 May to 19 Sept. Marquee summer destination, every list still says swim beach.
• NEDERLAND: fire 9 Oct 2025 destroyed the Caribou Village Shopping Center and ~20 businesses including Wild Bear Nature Center. Carousel survived, reopened 16 Oct. Demolition done Feb 2026, NO rebuild timeline. The historic downtown on East 1st Street is a SEPARATE district, unaffected. Do not blur.
• NEDERLAND: Frozen Dead Guy Days moved to ESTES PARK in 2023. Most-repeated wrong fact about the town. Whether Bredo Morstoel is still kept near Nederland could NOT be confirmed, so the page asserts nothing either way.
• BROOMFIELD: 1STBANK Center went dark 30 Nov 2023, demolished 2024.
• LYONS: Meadow Park renamed LaVern M. Johnson Park, 2 May 2016. Also closes to the public 6 to 10 Aug for the Folks Festival.
• LONGMONT: Button Rock banned dogs 15 May 2023. Boulder people bring dogs.
• LONGMONT: the Boulder County Fair is IN LONGMONT. So is Oskar Blues' production brewery, usually miscalled a Lyons brewery.
• LAFAYETTE: Miners Museum became the History Museum, Sept 2022.
• ERIE: Erie Lake down to ~3ft, Hwy 287 entrance PERMANENTLY closed, anglers asked off through 2026.
• LONGMONT: Twin Peaks Mall is now Village at the Peaks.

⚠️ Deliberately unpublished, do not "fix"

• Planet Bluegrass publishes NO ticket price anywhere on its own site.
• Eldora publishes NO lift ticket or parking price outside a checkout. Aggregators quote 9-39 and 0 parking; none trace to the operator.
• Growing Gardens community garden fee (bot-blocked, see session 19).
• LAFAYETTE: BBRC has NO resident/non-resident split. Counterintuitive, verified by searching the full fee page for both terms. Opposite of Louisville, Broomfield, Erie and Boulder, and opposite of Lafayette's OWN outdoor waterpark and boathouse, which DO split. Lead with it.
• ERIE is written honestly as a commuter town with THREE things worth the drive (balloon festival, free Young Eagles kids' flights, singletrack) and says so. Do NOT inflate it into a ten-item list.

Methodology disclosed on the page

louisvilleco.gov returns HTTP 403 to automated requests sitewide. Every Louisville city figure came from the Wayback cache of the city's OWN pages, and the page tells readers so. Budget for that workaround on any re-check.

Every town name has a bigger namesake (Louisville KY is the dangerous one, plus Lafayette LA/IN, Erie PA, Lyon FRANCE, Nederland = the Netherlands). All confirmed by category AND coordinates. Nederland was visually inspected to confirm it does not show the burned shopping center; Broomfield is deliberately structure-free so it cannot show the demolished arena. The first Longmont pick was rejected: a bank frontage whose filename contained "1STBANK", colliding with the Broomfield demolition notice.

• /guides/ and /festivals/ added to gen_llms_full.py ORDER (the stale-list gap from session 19). Now 36 pages.
• Clubs page gaps filled: chess, board games, trivia, three craft guilds, beekeeping, a ski club, drumming, cycling and running clubs. 25 groups.
• ⚠️ A blanket British-to-American spelling sweep BROKE CODE and was reverted. It turned aria-labelledby into the invalid aria-labeledby in three components and mangled "centred" into "centerd". The rule governs what is PUBLISHED, not what a machine MATCHES. Diff any spelling sweep.
• ⚠️ Do not trust in-browser overflow measurement when the Browser pane is not displayed. clientWidth collapses to 0 and everything "overflows" (578 false offenders). Resize first, or trust the validator.
• ⚠️ The validator 404s on brand-new pages if run immediately after deploy. CDN propagation. The tell: overflow and links pass on all pages while http fails. Re-run after a minute.

EXACT next step

The weave: adding nearby-town entries INTO the existing category pages (/free/, /family/, /rainy-day/, /this-weekend/, /outdoors/, /nightlife/, /pearl-street/) with the town labelled on each row. That is the second half of what Annette asked for and it has not started. Note several /live-here/ pages already carry out-of-town entries labelled in prose (pottery has Lafayette and Longmont, horseback has Longmont and Loveland, cooking has Louisville), so the pattern exists to copy.
