Image Prompts for the Agentic AI Article
Copy a prompt, paste it into ChatGPT, save the result. Written to match the article's sections and the noir-and-yellow look of verityagentic.ai.
These pair with Agentic AI vs AI Agents. Paste any one into ChatGPT and it will generate the image. No editing of the prompt needed.
Read this first, it saves an hour
Two rules, learned the hard way.
Never ask an AI generator for words inside the picture. Every image model still mangles text. It produces things like "AGENITC AI" and "Autonimy" at a size too small to notice until the page is live. Every prompt below is deliberately wordless. If a diagram needs labels, generate the shapes and add the words afterward as real text on the page, which also keeps them selectable, translatable, and readable by a screen reader.
No people, no faces. Separate from the mangled-hands problem, a generated human in a business article reads as stock imagery and undercuts the piece. Abstract, architectural, and diagrammatic images hold up better and match the site. If you ever do want a real human image, that's a job for Gemini Nano Banana, not this route.
Brand values to keep consistent: near-black #050505, signal yellow #ffe600, hot pink #ff1f8f, with a warm cream #efe7d8 when a section needs a light background. Hard-edged, high contrast, no soft corporate gradients.
Sizes: 16:9 for the hero and section images. 1:1 works for the social card. Ask for 1536x1024 or wider where ChatGPT offers the choice.
1. Hero image
A wide, high-contrast abstract illustration on a near-black background (#050505). A single glowing yellow (#ffe600) path enters from the left and branches into a decision network of thin geometric lines, some branches ending in blunt stops, one continuous branch threading all the way through to the right edge and passing through several rectangular gateways. Hot pink (#ff1f8f) accents mark three of the gateways. Flat vector style, sharp edges, bold graphic poster design, generous black negative space, no text, no letters, no numbers, no people. 16:9.
Where it goes: top of the article. It carries the whole idea, one instruction going in and a system finding its way through, without stating it.
2. The two modes, side by side
A minimal split-panel diagram on a near-black background. On the left panel, a single short straight yellow arrow going from one small square to another small square, isolated, with a lot of empty space around it. On the right panel, a dense interconnected web of thin yellow and hot pink lines linking eight small squares in a loose ring, with several looping return paths. Both panels in the same flat geometric vector style, sharp edges, high contrast, clearly the same visual language at two levels of complexity. No text, no labels, no letters, no people. 16:9.
Where it goes: beside the six-differences table. Add "AI agent" and "Agentic AI" as real HTML text under each half.
3. Multi-step planning
A flat geometric illustration on near-black. One large yellow shape at the top breaks apart into six smaller angular fragments that descend and arrange themselves into an ordered staircase from upper left to lower right. Each fragment slightly rotated. A thin hot pink line traces the path connecting them in sequence. Bold poster style, hard edges, strong negative space, no text, no numbers, no people. 16:9.
Where it goes: the "plans in multiple steps" paragraph. It shows decomposition without needing a caption.
4. Self-correction
A flat vector illustration on near-black showing a yellow line traveling left to right that strikes a solid hot pink barrier, stops, doubles back on itself, and takes a second route around the barrier to continue to the right edge. The abandoned first path is drawn as a faded dotted line, the successful route as a solid bright yellow line. Geometric, minimal, high contrast, no text, no arrows with labels, no people. 16:9.
Where it goes: the self-correction paragraph, and it's the single clearest visual in this set.
5. Cross-system reach
A flat geometric illustration on near-black showing five separate rectangular blocks arranged across the frame at different heights, each block a distinct flat color from a palette of cream, gray, and muted blue. Bright yellow threads pass through every block, entering one side and exiting the other, weaving them into one continuous connected system. Hot pink dots mark each point where a thread meets a block. Bold, flat, poster-like, sharp edges, no text, no icons, no logos, no people. 16:9.
Where it goes: the cross-system reach paragraph. This is the one that makes orchestration legible to a non-technical buyer.
6. The human approval gate
A flat geometric illustration on near-black. A broad stream of thin yellow parallel lines flows left to right and narrows to pass through a single deliberate gap in a solid cream-colored (#efe7d8) vertical wall that spans the frame. On the right side of the wall the lines resume and fan back out. One hot pink line waits at the wall, held back, not yet through. Minimal, architectural, high contrast, no text, no people, no hands. 16:9.
Where it goes: the Rebuilding Seminars example, next to the human gate point. That held-back pink line is the whole governance argument in one image.
7. The statistic worth reading carefully
A flat minimal editorial illustration on a warm cream background (#efe7d8). A large solid dark rectangle occupies most of the frame, and a much smaller bright yellow rectangle sits nested inside its lower left corner, taking up a visibly small fraction of the larger shape. A thin hot pink outline traces just the small rectangle, drawing the eye to it. Extreme simplicity, Swiss graphic design influence, generous empty space, no text, no numbers, no charts, no axes, no people. 16:9.
Where it goes: the Gartner section. It carries the point visually, that the quoted number describes the narrow category inside the broad one.
8. Social share card
A bold square graphic poster on near-black. A single thick yellow angular line enters at the lower left, turns twice at sharp right angles, and exits at the upper right, passing through two hot pink rectangular gates on its way. Heavy negative space, flat vector, hard edges, high contrast, brutalist graphic design, no text, no letters, no people. 1:1 square.
Where it goes: the article's og:image, replacing the generic site-wide card. Worth doing, since right now every Verity page shares the same social image.
After you generate them
Rename them descriptively before uploading. agentic-ai-hero-branching-decision-path.webp rather than ChatGPT-Image-Aug-1.png. File names are a small ranking signal and a large sanity signal in six months.
Convert to webp and keep them under 300KB for a hero, 150KB for anything smaller. The article images on verityagentic.ai went through this exact conversion recently and dropped from 124MB to under 7MB.
Write real alt text. Describe what the image conveys rather than what it depicts. For image 6, "a human approval gate holding one item back while the rest of the workflow passes through" beats "yellow lines and a wall."
Set width and height on every image tag so the page doesn't jump while they load.
Send me the files when you have them and I'll size, convert, and place them.
