This page is the rest of the world. It's the part that was missing: CPV and CDV researchers on six continents, the international veterinary federations, the global shelter and rescue networks that work in exactly the conditions the site was built for, and the veterinary press outside the US. It also picks up something that was sitting unused: the Brazil, Argentina, Colombia and Chile researcher contacts already in Annette's own notes that never made it into the kit.

The through-line for all of it: the site is free, non-commercial, cites real papers, has genuine Spanish-language pages, and was built by someone who ran a shelter and needed it to exist. That last part is the standing, and every email below leads with it. Annette directed Bone Voyage Dog Rescue in Ajijic until 2024, flying over 4,000 dogs to adopters in the US and Canada, so she saw parvo outbreaks from the intake floor, not from a literature review. It's the reason a researcher should read her email at all, and the reason her judgment about what shelter vets actually need is worth something. None of it is a pitch, and the outreach shouldn't sound like one.

On language: every email to a recipient in a Spanish-speaking country appears here in Spanish first, then English underneath. That's one email in two versions for one recipient, not two targets. Send the Spanish. Decaro (in the other kit) is Italian and Molina is Brazilian, so both of those stay English only.

How to read this list

I did not invent a single email address. Where there's no public address, the row says so plainly and gives the form or department page instead. Researcher emails come from the corresponding-author line of their own open-access papers, which is a published, public contact route and the normal way academics expect to be reached.

Tier 1: send this week

Ranked on reach times likelihood-of-response times relevance. The logic behind Tier 1 is simple: prefer people and organizations that are small enough to actually read their own email, active in CPV or CDV right now rather than a decade ago, and positioned so that one yes reaches many others. The famous names are not automatically the best first sends. Decaro is already in the kit, and a cold email to the most-cited person in the field is a lottery ticket. These eight aren't.

Tier 2: this month

Real targets with either slower institutions, lower response odds, or a less exact fit. Worth the time, but not worth spending the first week on. Full details are in the regional tables below.

• Associations: WSAVA Vaccination Guidelines Group (huge reach, slow, and its Latin America regional guidelines are a strong Spanish-language fit), FECAVA, BSAVA, FASAVA.
• Networks: Mission Rabies, Soi Dog Foundation, Dogs Trust Worldwide, Humane World for Animals, Four Paws, IFAW, World Animal Protection, Vets Beyond Borders, Animal Balance.
• Media: Vet Times UK, Veterinary Practice News, Veterinaria Digital, Revista Argos.
• Researchers: the Bari group beyond Decaro himself, Paola Dall'Ara (Milan), Hokkaido (CDV structural biology), Yozgat Bozok (Turkey), Rajkhowa and Gundi (India), El-Dabae (Egypt), Pretoria (South Africa), KNUST (Ghana), Rätsep (Guelph diagnostics), Murphy (UC Davis, GS-441524 against CDV), Holmes (Sydney), Nanjing Agricultural University (China).
• Schools: Utrecht, RVC London, Queensland, Massey, Tec de Monterrey.

Tier 3: nice to have

Weak fit, low reachability, or a conflict worth thinking about. Do these when the higher tiers are exhausted.

• WOAH (OIE) and ESCCAP: both are real and both are live, but WOAH's remit is notifiable and largely livestock disease, and CPV and CDV are not notifiable. ESCCAP is about parasites, not viruses. Honest assessment: neither is a natural home for this site, whatever the org chart suggests.
• FAVA (the Asian federation): reachable, but FASAVA is the small-animal body and the better door.
• MSD Animal Health, Boxmeer: their maternally-derived-antibody and CPV vaccine work is directly relevant to the site's maternal-antibody content, and the researcher emails are published. The catch is that they're a vaccine manufacturer and the site's whole credibility rests on being non-commercial. Worth reading their papers, worth thinking twice about the email.
• Veterinary Record (BVA/Wiley): real and prestigious, but the submission path is a journal path, not a resource-link path.
• Nigeria (UNN Nsukka), Ecuador (UDLA), New Zealand (Biosecurity NZ): verified institutions, no public individual contact found for the relevant work.

Researchers by region

Every email below is a published corresponding-author address from that person's own open-access paper. Where a paper listed no public address, the row gives the verified department instead and says so.

International veterinary associations

Big organizations move slowly and rarely add outside links, so treat these as a background campaign rather than a source of quick wins. The Tier 3 entries are included because they were asked for, with an honest note on why they're weak.

Global shelter and rescue networks

This is the strongest category on the page and the one the existing kit missed entirely. These organizations operate in exactly the conditions the outpatient content was written for, they're mission-aligned rather than commercial, and several are small enough that a real person reads the inbox.

Veterinary media

dvm360, Today's Veterinary Practice, Today's Veterinary Nurse, Clinician's Brief, VIN and Revista Balto are already assessed on the backlink page. These are the ones outside that list.

Vet school shelter-medicine and small-animal programs

UC Davis Koret, UW-Madison, Cornell and Florida are already on the backlink page and remain the highest-value shelter-medicine targets. These extend the same play outside the US.

Latin America

This is where the site's real advantage is. Genuine Spanish pages, a Jalisco address, and a first-hand reason for building it. Almost nobody else publishing parvo research in English has any of that. UNAM, UdG CUCBA, AMMVEPE and FedMVZ are already on the backlink page. These are the additions.

Personal emails for the Spanish-speaking Tier 1 targets

Murcia and La Plata were the two Tier 1 targets with no draft written for them, which was a gap: they're the two highest-fit researcher contacts on the page and they both work in Spanish. So these aren't templates, they're written for those specific people and their specific work, the same way the four in the Outreach & Community Kit are.

Each one is a Spanish version and an English version of the same email to the same recipient. Send the Spanish. The English is there so Annette can read exactly what she's sending, and so she can paste it underneath if she wants them to have both.

Neither one names the shelter. Bone Voyage means nothing in Murcia or La Plata, but the scale does, so both emails give the number instead: over 4,000 dogs flown to adopters in the US and Canada. That's the part that tells a stranger she ran the problem rather than read about it.

Four new email templates

The existing kit covers Latin American vet schools, Mexican rescues, US shelters and shelter-medicine programmes. These four are the ones it doesn't have. Merge fields are in brackets. Same rules as the rest of the kit: she signs as a medical technologist who directed a shelter in Ajijic until 2024, not a vet, and the ask stays quiet and comes last. Template D is the Spanish one, and it now carries an English version underneath it for the same recipient.

Templates B, C and D name Bone Voyage Dog Rescue, for three different reasons. B goes to rescue networks, who are peers and will want to know which organization. C goes to editors, and a byline credential has to be an organization with a name. D goes to Spanish-speaking rescues, some of whom know the name already. Template A goes to association committees, where the name adds nothing a committee can use, so it stays with the description. B and C also carry the 4,000+ figure, because scale is what makes a rescue network and an editor take a non-vet seriously.

Verification summary

63 distinct contacts, across 74 table rows (11 are cross-listed in more than one table and counted once here).

• 44 verified (VERIFIED): URL returned HTTP 200 on 16 July 2026, or the email is a published corresponding-author address from an open-access paper I opened and read.
• 11 form or department only (FORM / DEPT): the page is live but no public individual address exists, so the row gives the form or directory and says so rather than guessing one.
• 6 verify-first (VERIFY FIRST): the Brazil, Colombia and Chile researchers carried over from Annette's own research notes, which I did not independently re-confirm today. Flores is the exception and is marked verified, because a 2026 paper re-confirmed his address this month.
• 2 live but bot-blocked (LIVE, BOT-BLOCKED): ICAM and Veterinary Record via Wiley. Both are real and both return 403 to scripts. The University of Bari does the same, and is filed under form/dept for that reason. Open all three in a browser to confirm.

On the email addresses specifically: 40 unique addresses appear on this page. 31 were verified today, either on the organization's own live page or in the corresponding-author line of an open-access paper I opened. The other 9 are flagged: 6 are the carryover addresses from Annette's notes described above, and 3 are organization addresses (ICAM, FAVA, Argos) that I found in a secondary source rather than on the organization's own live page, because those sites either block scripts or resolved unreliably. None was invented and none was pattern-guessed from a name.

Two regions came back empty and are recorded as gaps rather than padded with weak names: Kenya and South Korea. Two associations, WOAH and ESCCAP, are verified live but genuinely poor fits, and the table says so.
